Finding cheap train tickets is fun and exciting if you do not mind where you end up.  It is possible to book very, very cheap train fares if you purchase train tickets online.  All it takes is a little research online and a little luck.  If you search for the cheapest tickets and care nothing of where they lead, then some people call this an adventure holiday, as they have no idea where they will end up.  Some people will just point themselves in the direction of a country and go.  Besides this option, it can be very interesting to search out cheap train tickets that may provides access to the various lost locations of Europe.  You can even compare cheap train travel and cheap hotels so that you can book up a cheap weekend holiday for very little money and then just go (spontaneously) one weekend.
