1. Seek the help of a travel agent who specialize in Europe tours especially if it is your first time to visit Europe. It will surely cost more but you will certainly have an enjoying and stress-free vacation. Consider the European packages they offer as well since they usually include some meals and accommodations.

2. If you opt to travel without the help of a travel agency in order to cut cost, make sure you have a lot of time to plan your vacation. In this way, you can look for cheap hotels or hostels, airfares, and of course prepare your itinerary. Also consider traveling by train if you are hopping from one place to another instead of riding the plane which is way more expensive.

3. Fix all visas needed. Remember, that countries in Europe can have different visas. The commonly used one is the Schengen visa, but like for United Kingdom and Ireland, different visas are required. You can consult the embassies’ websites or if you have a travel agent, they will also inform you on this.

4. Traveling around Europe means hopping from one country through bus, train, or plane. This means you really need to pack light and bring only what you need.

5. A lot of locals do not speak English that well that is why it is also good to learn a little of their language, depending on the places you are going to visit. You do not need to be fluent. Just choose words which you think will be useful like “how much” or “where is the restroom”. It might also be useful to bring along dictionaries wherever you go.

6. Europe is very diverse therefore it is good to research on the countries you are going to visit. In this way, you will understand the local’s background and you will know how to act in front of them as a sign of respect.

7. To make sure that you will be able to charge your camera, cellular phones, and other important electronic devices, be ready with power adaptors. Usually, hotels in Europe have a different socket, which is for rounded plugs. You can always buy but of course it is always cheaper to bring your own, which is the same for batteries, memory cards, etc.

8. You will surely spend a good amount of money therefore if you are bringing cash, do not put them in one place. Distribute them in different bags or pockets since there are several instances when tourists lost their whole bag. In line with this, it is always good to keep photocopies of important documents like your passport in order to get a new one easily incase stolen.

9. Last but not the least, have fun! You have to be flexible when traveling in Europe. Try new and exciting activities to enjoy your stay. Europe offers an unending list of things to do so make the most out of it.
