Aquaworld Budapest – the biggest aquapark of Europe | Hungary

Updated June 10, 2026 by europeexplored No Comments

Hungarian ingenuity meets Roman bathing tradition at Aquaworld Budapest, the largest aquapark in Europe. Beneath a massive glass dome that captures the central European sun, a tropical paradise of slides, thermal pools, and wave machines stretches across 35,000 square metres. The water, heated by the same geothermal springs that made Budapest famous as the City of Spas, flows through every pool at a perfect thirty degrees. Families race down colourful slides while couples soak in quieter thermal zones. Steam rises from open air pools even on the coldest winter days.

Inside the five-story tall dome, you will find a massive size replica of the Angkor Temple. There are suspension bridges and towers throughout the park that offers some of the most amazing views and access to some of the most popular rides.
