The caves are not yet fully explored and offer an adventurous excursion for those interested in underground landscapes. Interesting trips can be taken to Tindari, Milazzo, or to the historic towns of Cefalù, Taormina, and Mount Etna. The local cuisine features fresh seafood caught daily from the Tyrrhenian waters, with specialties including swordfish, anchovies, and the region’s famous granita served with fresh brioche. The evening passeggiata along the waterfront is a cherished local ritual, with families and couples strolling past the cafes and taking in the sea breeze as the sun sets behind the Aeolian Islands, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink that reflect off the calm Tyrrhenian Sea.
